Kerry Ray Waldrop, 34, of Byhalia, Mississippi passed away on January 9, 2026 in a tragic accident. Kerry was born on August 26, 1991 in Southaven, Mississippi to Mr. Gary and Mrs. Teresa Allert Waldrop. He worked as a jailer for the Marshall county correctional facility and was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Olive Branch.

 

Kerry is survived by his parents, 2 brothers, Adam Gregory (Jill) of Olive Branch and Brandon Paseur of Byhalia, a grandmother, Mary Waldrop, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rowland Waldrop and Lois Cooper, a Great-Grandmother, Lavada Ethridge, an uncle, Danny Roberts, as well as an aunt, Tina Bigham. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 5 until 8 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Both the visitation and funeral service will be held at the First Pentecostal Church of Olive Branch. Following the funeral service, a graveside will be held at the Lebanon Cemetery in Olive Branch where he will be buried.
