Raymond Plunk, 74, of Southaven, Mississippi went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2026 at the Baptist Desoto Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Raymond was born to the late Mr. Roscoe Plunk and Mrs. Dexter Dorean Blankenship Plunk on February 4, 1952 in Hardin County, Tennessee. He was Apostolic in faith and worked in the distribution industry. 

 

Mr. Plunk is survived by 3 sons: Doug Plunk (Deanna) of Coldwater, John Plunk, and Kenny Pace (Savannah) of Iuka, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers: Eddie Plunk and Harold Plunk, 3 sisters: Magdalene Smith, Thelda Church, and Ella Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Tom Plunk, Paul Plunk, and Sam Plunk; as well as a sister, Omega Plunk. Raymond will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1st, 2026 from 5 until 9:00 PM and the funeral will be held the following day at 10:00 AM. Both the visitation and the funeral service will be held at the Heritage Church of Southaven (700 Church Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671). Burial will follow at the Crump Cemetery in Crump, Tennessee where a graveside service will be held.
