Roger Dale Kimble, 76, left this world peacefully on December 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Castle Rock, Colorado.
Roger was born on February 27, 1949 in Holly Springs, Mississippi to the late Mr. Robert William Kimble and Mrs. Evelyn "Sissy" Byrd Kimble. He grew up in Holly Springs where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep love for his family. Roger was Baptist in faith and spent his life in service to others. He worked for the Clipper Abrasive Company in Holly Springs until its closing at which time he went to work alongside his brother in the family business at the Kimble Fish Market.
He is survived by a daughter, Christy Davis (Danny) of Castle Rock, Colorado, a son, Rodney Kimble (Amanda) of Moscow, Tennessee, 6 grandchildren: Justin Kimble, Brooke Kimble Myatt, William "Will" Kimble, Miles Davis, Noah Davis, and Josh Davis, as well as 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Clay "Marty" Kimble (Diane) of Holly Springs, and Steve Kimble (Teresa) of Horn Lake. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert "Butch" Kimble and Joe Kimble.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20 beginning at 10:00 AM and lasting until service time. The Funeral service will begin at 11 AM. All services will be held at the Holly Springs Funeral Home with a graveside to follow at the Clear Creek Cemetery in Lamar where he will be buried.
Roger will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. |
