Rosa Joann Cash, 72, of Ecru, Mississippi passed away on January 21, 2026 at the Baptist Hospital in New Albany surrounded by loved ones. She was born on May 5, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Mr. John Novarese Jr. and Mrs. Rosa Viconte Novarese. She worked at the Marietta Soap Manufacturing Plant and was Roman Catholic in faith.

 

She is survived by 2 sons, John Clinton Cash Jr. and Christopher Lee Cash, 2 daughters, Kimberly Cash, Janet Cash, as well as 5 grandchildren, Amber Nicole Murray, Brian Edwin Murray Jr, Marcus Cash, and J.C. Cash. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Cash Sr., her parents, and a brother, Gene Novarese

 

The funeral will be held at the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Free Springs Cemetery.
