Darene Goode 80, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in New Albany, MS. Darene was born December 8, 1936 to Hurbert Lemons and Rubye Pipkin Lemons in Holly Springs, MS. Darene was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Bethlehem, MS. Darene worked as a clerical worker for the Marshall Counnty Schools. Services will be Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Bethlehem, MS. There will be a visitation begining at 10:00 am.Burial will be at the church cemetery. Darene is survived by two sons. Greg Goode (Angela) New Albany, MS and Shane Goode, Holly Springs, MS. Two daughters, Anita Goode, Memphis, TN and Renee Hughey, Potts Camp, MS. and six grandchildren. Darene was preceded in death by her husband C.E. Goode Jr. and granddaughter Brittany Hughey.
