Gene Edward Hunsucker, 87, of Michigan City, passed away at Ashland Health and Rehab on April 23, 2024. He was born on September 6, 1936, in Marshall County, to John Hunsucker and Corrie Gray Hunsucker. Mr Hunsucker was a tool and dye operator.
Mr Hunsucker is survived by two daughters, Marlene McKenzie (Lee) of Ashland, and Rhonda Tice (David) of Michigan City. He also leaves four grandchildren and their spouses, Megan and Jarrett Thompson, Hamer and Laken McKenzie, Hunter and Shelby Tice, and Austin Tice, and seven great grandchildren, Jorja Kate Thomas,Kenzie Thompson, Marlee McKenzie, Maelie Thompson, Livie Thompson, Ann Majors Tice, and Will McKenzie. Mr Hunsucker was preceded in death by his wife, Wandaleen Wilburn Hunsucker, and his parents.
Services for Mr Hunsucker will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm. A visitation for family and friends will begin at noon and continue until service time. Burial will be in Rice Chapel Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Salem Masonic Lodge #45 of Ashland. |
