Dorothy Pauline Colston 83, passed away Tuesday March 14, 2017 at Alliance Healthcare, Holly Springs, MS. Dorothy was born April 6, 1933 in Benton County MS. to Robert Lee Bynum and Velma Rush Bynum. Dorthy was owner / operator of Colston's Garage in Holly Springs, MS. Services will be Satuarday March 18, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with a visitation beginning at 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will be at Hill Crest Cemetery Holly Springs, MS. Dorothy is survived by a son, Robert Colston (Mary Lynne) Hickory Flat, MS. three daughters, Judy Pfahler Holly Springs, MS Joyce Akin (David) Michigan City, MS and Donna Massengill (Mark) Hickory Flat, MS a brother Tommy Bynum, a sister Joann Love, ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildrem. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Ed Colston and a grandchild Lawrence Cain Massengill.

I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.
