Frances Byrd Allen 94, passed away October 22, 2017 at Ashland Health and Rehab. Frances was born May 22, 1923 to Jessie Byrd and Elizabeth Skelton Byrd in Lamar, MS. Frances was a member of the 45 Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Services will be Wednesday, October 25, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. There will be a visitation Tueday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hill Crest Cemetery in Holly Springs, MS.
Frances is survived by her son, Joel Allen (Wilma) Lamer, MS; daughters, Alma Pierce (Richard) LaGrange, TN, Joan Cox (Larry) Potts Camp, MS, and Peggy Clifton (Dennis) Holly Springs, MS; sister, Mabel Boone Holly Springs MS; nine grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by her grand-daughters, Missy Campbell and Wendy Reese; her great grandchildren, Bradley Reese, Anna Kate Thomas and Grayson Cox.
