Lee Earl Jeffers

Mrs. Lee Earl Jeffers 74, passed away November 25, 2017 in Ashland, MS. Lee was born December 13, 1942 to Roy Raymond James and Lula Mae Thrasher in Ashland, MS. Lee was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and was a photographer and writer for Brighter Side. Lee was a Daughter of the Confederacy.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. on November 30, 2017 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be at the Ashland Cemetery. Visitation will from 12:00 until service time at the church. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lee is survived by her husband Donald Jeffers Jr. Ashland, MS. Two sons Timothy Lee Slaton Ripley, MS, and Jeffery Michael Slaton Norfork, VA. Daughter Lisa Gail Carter (Glenn) Ripley MS. Lisa was also a member of the Daughters of the Confedacy. Three brothers, Roy James Atlanta. GA, Dennis James Canaan, MS and Kevin James Colierville, TN. Two sisters, Billye Pittman Colierville, TN and Beth Pitt Mt. Pleasent, MS. Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Lee was peceded in death by her son Bobby Allen Slaton.
