Louise Morgan, 87, of Ashland, Mississippi passed away on December 19, 2025 at the Ashland Nursing Home. Louise was born on September 23, 1938 in Lamar, Mississippi to the late Mr. Brantley Roy Wilson and Mrs. Mae Gray Wilson. She was a Christian and was a dedicated factory worker at Troxel for over 40 years before retiring.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her sons, Larry Morgan (Paula), Barry Morgan (Melisha), Junior Morgan (Rita), and Brant Morgan (Crystal), a daughter Vickie Weatherly (Tony), as well as a brother, Buddy Wilson (Debbie). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Evan (Sabrina), Taylor, Ashley (David), Chelsea (John David), Jonathan (Brandy), Tiffany (Paul), Allyson, Jessica (Josh), Keaton (Carleigh), and Konner, as well as 19 Great grandchildren: Avery, Maevee, Abby, Elly, Ashton, Luke, Marilyn Kate, Rowdy, Thomas, Chloe, Taylor, Hayden, Jack, Ridge, Dautry, Kruz, Lucie, Charlie, and Maxx. She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Charlie Hughie Morgan, her parents, an infant child, 4 brothers: Buster "Howard" Wilson, Winford "Jew" Wilson, Gene Wilson, and Junior Wilson, 4 sisters: Ruby Wilson Hailey, Lucy Wilson Skelton, Learleen Wilson Grisham, and Bertha Wilson. She is also preceded in death by a special Sister-In-Law, Imogene "Shot" Wilson, as well as a Great-Grandson, Hudson Jude Ward.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 12 PM and last until service time. The funeral service will begin at 2:00. All services will be held at the Holly Springs Funeral Home with a graveside to follow at the Rice Chapel Cemetery in Lamar where she will be buried.
