Melba Faye Stanton 86, passed away Saturday March 18, 2017 at home in Potts Camp, MS. Faye was born December 13, 1930 in Mt. Pleasent MS. to Jessie J. Smith and Mary Heath Smith. She was a member of the Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and a homemaker.
Services will be Wednesday March 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with a visitation Tuesday March 21, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the church. Burial will be at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Faye is survived by three sons, Jimmy Stanton (Bonnie), Jacky Stanton (Louise) and Gary Stanton, a daughter Pam Anderson and a sister Joyce Clayton all of Potts Camp, MS. Faye is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas Stanton, a grandchild, Madison McGregor, a daughter in law Brenda Stanton and a son in law Bob Anderson.
