Rita Hughey Jordan 68, passed away September 29, 2017 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, Augusta GA. Rita was born April 28, 1949 to Hubert "Buddy" Hughey and Dortha Jeanes Hughey in Ripley, MS. Rita was a member of the Church of Christ and worked in childcare. Services will be held Wednesday October 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Pacer Blevins will be officiating. There will be a visitation Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Burial will be at the Ashland Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland, MS. Rita is survived by her son, Barry Jordan (Jenny) Martinez, GA. Daughter, Janet Blevins (Pacer) Kansas City, MO. Brother, Pete Hughey Ashland, MS. Sister, Sandra Boler Falkner, MS. Six grandchildren, Ashley Blevins, Amy Blevins, Abbey Blevins, Austin Blevins, Carter Jordan and Sadie Jordan.
