Everette Franklin Thompson

Everette Franklin Thompson 87, passed away August 2, 2017 at Union County Health and Rehab in New Albany, MS. Frank was born in Benton County, March 20, 1930 to Mack F. Thompson Sr. and Zelma Hopkins Thompson.

He married Mary Kirk in 1951, They were married for 58 years until her death in 2009.

He was a retired farmer, loving father, grandfather and great randfeather and caring friend.

He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Benton County, a Mason and served as a Corpral with the United States Army, serving in the Korean conflict.

He is survived by 3 sons, Steve Thompson (Valerie). Ronnny Thompson (Pam) of Hickory Flat, MS and Tim Thompson (Becky) of New Albany, MS. Grandchildren, Chad Thompson, Matt Thompson (Olivia), Patrick Thompson, Mary Kate Thompson, Grace Thompson, Davilyn Parker (Greg) and Lori Roush (Eric). Great grandchidren, Elijah, Everette, Easton, Emmett, Jack, Madden and Miller Thompson, Addison, Foster and Quinn Roush. Mmadeline and Kellen Parker.One brother, David Thompson, one sister in law, Darlyne Thompson.

Pall beares, Chad Thompson, Matt Thompson, Patrick Thompson, Justin Thompson, Richie Hopper, Eric Roush and Mitchell Ormon. Honorary Pall Bearrs, the staff of Union County Health and Rehab and the staff of Home Care Hospice.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and siblings, Mack Thompson Jr. Ella Pearl Gray and Maxine Weatherly.

Services will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 with visitation begining at 1:00pm with service at 3:00 pm, at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Hickory Flat, MS.
