Marjorie Byrd

Marjorie Byrd 79, passed away Friday June 2, 2017 at home in Lamar, MS. Marjorie was born August 24, 1937 to James McClure and Irene Bolden McClure in Slayden, MS. Marjorie was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church and worked in Quality Control for 39 years at Sunbeam.

Services will be Sunday June 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the funeraal home with a visitation Friday June 3,  from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Hillcrest  Cemetery Holly Springs, MS.


Marjorie is survived by her husband Tobe Byrd Lamar, MS. Two sons, Ricky Byrd (Clarice) Byhalia, MS. and James Darren Byrd, Lamar, MS. A daughter, Lisa Loupe (Roger) Selmer, TN. A brother James "Bo" McClure, Slayden, MS. Eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchldren.
