Chase Douglas Murphy

Chase Douglas Murphy, 34, of Lamar, Mississippi, passed away at his home on April 28, 2024.  He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on November 1, 1989, to Charles Douglas Murphy and Vicki Lynn Lynch.  Chase Murphy was a talented contractor and an electrician.

Chase Murphy is survived by his wife, Summer Mullins Murphy of Lamar, a son, Doug Nathan Murphy, and a daughter, Ciara Carol Lynn Murphy.  He also leaves his adoptive father, Eric Lynch (Denise) of Holly Springs, his grandmother, Rebecca Vann of Collierville, two brothers, Chaz Murphy and Anthony Lynch, both of Collierville, four sisters, Chasitie Murphy of Collierville, Amberley Hayes of Byhalia, Brittney Lynch and Lisha Williams, both of Olive Branch, two aunts, Angie Murphy of Boliver, Tennessee, and Toni Lopez of Brighton, Tennessee, and two uncles, Jamie Murphy of Memphis and Alan Vann of Byhalia. Chase was preceded in death by his parents.

Services for Chase Murphy will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm.  A visitation for family and friends will begin at noon and continue until service time.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville.
