Thomas J Childress Sr

Thomas Jefferson Childress, 77, of Olive Branch, passed away at his home on March 10, 2022.  He was born on October 21,1944, in Senatobia, to Thomas Eugee Childress and Chessie Bradley Childress.  Mr Childress was a United States Army Veteran and was a Gas Regulator with MLG&W.

Mr Childress is survived by his wife, Mary Marshall Childress of Olive Branch, a son, Thomas Childress Jr (Vickie) of Kansas City, Missouri, and a daughter, Dawn Childress McGee (Brian) of Olive Branch.  He also leaves a brother, John Childress, three grandchildren, Britany Starkey (Bryant), Dalton McGee, and Dakota McGee, two great grandchildren, Brynton Starkey and Braelynn Starkey., and a host of nephews and nieces. 

Services for Mr Childress will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 2:00 pm, in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home.  A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00, and last until service time.

Mary, I just learned today that T.J. had passed away. I am so sorry to learn that another of our Harmontown group has passed on. I will always have fond memories of the many times I spent with him, William, Gene, Jay, and others in our age group. I hope that God will comfort you as you face this difficult time.
