Anne Smith Gaddy

Anne Lorraine Gaddy, 79, of Byhalia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her friends and loved ones on February 21, 2023.
 
She is survived by sons: Chuck Smith of Byhalia, MS, Jamie Smith of Byhalia, MS; daughters: Lynn Copeland of Byhalia, MS; Toni Clark of Saks, AL, Teresa Glick of Oxford, AL; Grandchildren: JP Morgan, Jennifer Morgan Waldrup, Wesley Morgan, Lee Clendenen, Brian Nunnelly, Chris Smith, and Beth Spalding. 18 Great Grandchildren, 10 Great Great Grandchildren, Sister: Rovene Hudson; Doggie: Tinkerbell; Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
 
She is preceded in death by her husband Sonny Gaddy; Parents: Marvin and Ocine Smith; Sons-in-law: Jeff Copeland, Bryan Helton, and Marty Glick; Brother: John Smith; Sister: Janice Smith.
 
She retired from AAFES after 23 years. She was a member of Parker United Methodist Church in Panama City, FL. She enjoyed going to choir practice every Wednesday and church on Sunday morning. She looked forward to her weekly trips to the commissary and talks with her friends from work. She also enjoyed her afternoon cups of coffee with whomever came by. 
 
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Gentiva Hospice, with a very special thanks going to her nurses, Lynn and Heather, for taking such good care of Anne during her final days.

Services for Mrs Gaddy will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 11:00 am.  A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 am and continue until service time.  Burial, following the service, will be in Waterford Cemetery.
