Arthur R "Pete" Pannell, age 85, passed away on May 27, 2021, at his home in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He was born on January 19, 1936, in Lamar, Mississippi, to Arthur Mack Pannell and DImple Skelton Pannell. He was a lifelong farmer.
Pete is survived by his wife, Kay Pannell, and two sons, Randall "Buck" Pannell andTerrell "Ta" Pannell, both of Holly Springs. He also leaves a brother, Claudie Pannell (Sarah), of Mt Pleasant, and a sister, Shirley Ann Pannell, of Potts Camp; grandchildren, Summer Pannell and Michael DeGraw, and a great grandchild, Stephen L Pannell. Pete was preceded in death by his first wife, Chestene Yeager Pannell, a son, Arthur "Poncho" Pannell, and grandchildren, Stephen W Pannell and Dustin R Pannell.
Services for Mr Pannell will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Holly Springs Funeral Home, at 2:00 pm, with burial to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 29, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. |
