Carl Dowland 101, passed away November 22, 2019 at Gemantown Methodist Hospital. Carl was born August 2, 1918 to Eual Wade Dowland and Bessie Benson Dowland in Bradford, TN. Carl was a member of the Church of Christ and worked as a farmer. Carl was a decorated WW II U.S. Army Veteran.
Services will be held November 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. There will be a visitation beginning at 12:00 noon until serrvice. Burial wil be at Hill Crest Cemetery.
Carl is survived by two sons, Carl Dowland (Cynthia) of Ackworth, GA and Charles Dowland of Collierville, TN. Five daughters, Syndia Mask (Will) of Mt. Pleasent, MS, Brenda Bishop of Benton, AR, Linda Burns (Tom) of Morrilton, AR, Monda Woods (Jim) of Collierville, TN and Debbie Dowland of Hernando, MS. A sister Jane Luckado of Crandall, TX. Ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
