Cary William Bolden

Cary William Bolden, 55, passed away at his home in Holly Springs on March 19, 2023 .  He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on July 20, 1967, to William Henry "Bud" Bolden and Betty Ruth Reed Bolden. Cary was a long time retail manager at Cousin's, where he was regarded as a dilligent, reliable employee who was most helpful to his fellow workers and his customers.  Most recently he was employed with CFI, where he was loved and where he made many live-long friends.

Cary was both committed to and guided by his faith, and his church, Heritage Apostolic Church, where he was a devoted member.  He was often heard saying to friends and family, "Get your life right!"  He enjoyed fishing, the Memphis Tigers, the Cowboys, NASCAR, and most importantly his grandchildren.  He deemed it important to be a part of most all activities that they were involved in. He was a devoted husband, Daddy, Pop and provider.  Cary was admired by all for his courageous attitude and his unwavering spirit in recent years.

Cary is survived by his wife of twenty one years, Telisha DeAnn Connor Bolden, four sons, Reed Bolden of Holly Springs, Reid Harmon of Olive Branch, Dylan Bolden (Carleigh) of Booneville, and Rooker Childers of Olive Branch, and two daughters, Michaela Waldrop (Zach) of Olive Branch, and Savannah Bolden of Booneville.  He also leaves six grandchildren, four brothers, Curtis Bolden (Linda) of Horseheads, New York, Leon Bolden (Diane) of Holly Springs, Jeff Bolden (Jessi) of Arlington, Tennessee, and Joey Bolden (Crystal) of Holly Springs, and two sisters, Trish Bolden of Holly Springs, and Tammy Yannotti (Frank) of Bartlett, Texas. Cary was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Susie Churchill.

Services for Cary will be held at Heritage Apostolic Church on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 2:00 pm.  The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday evening, March 21, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the church, and again on Wednesday, prior to the service, from noon until service time.  Burial, following funeral services, will be at Hill Crest Cemetery.
