Clyde N Hillmer, 78, of Holly Springs, passed away at Oxford Veterans Home on January 24, 2023. He was born on September 10, 1944, in Pierre, South Dakota, to James Hillmer and Ethel McIlravy Hillmer. Mr Hillmer was a United States Navy veteran, a truck dirver with Ashland Oil Company, and a member of First Baptist Church in Holly Springs.
Mr Hillmer is survived by his wife, Nellie Hillmer, a son, Casey Hillmer, and a daughter, Kristy Mickey. He also leaves four grandchildren, Josh Hillmer, Carter Hillmer, Cailey Hillmer, and Mya Mickey; two great grandchildren, Catie Hillmer and Joshua David Hillmer Jr; two brothers, Doug Hillmer (Peggy) and Rex Hillmer (Debbie), and a sister, Mary Lou Stuart. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edwin "Ellis" Hillmer, Dale Hillmer, Ivan Hillmer, Gary "Hook" Hillmer, and three sisters, Marjorie, Dixie King, and Karen Yellow.
