Daniel Rooker,73, of Hickory Flat, passed away on February 16, 2021, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. Daniel was born on June 22, 1947, to Oscar Rooker and Eloise Box Rooker in Hickory Flat and was a lifelong musician.
Services will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church in Hickory Flat, on Friday, February 26, at 11:00 am, with burial at Bethel Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Holly Springs Funeral Home.
Daniel is survived by a son, Daniel Rooker, Jr. (Tiffany) of Arlington, TN, and two daughters, Lisa Rooker Stowell of Hickory Flat, and Virginia Rooker Cuthberth (William) of Munford,TN. He is also survived by two brothers, Kenneth Rooker of Somerville, TN, and Rocky Rooker of Hickory Flat, a sister Elaine McNutt of Burnsville, MS, and eight grandchildren, Thomas Hardin, Ian Hardin, Katie Lindsey, Erica Stowell, Jacob Stowell, Shane Stowell, Chelsey McDaniel and Daniel Rooker, and 7 great grandchildren.
