Gene Skelton, 75, of Holly Springs, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family on March 2, 2021. Gene was born to Elbridge Morton Skelton amd Verlena Allen Skelton on October 25, 1945. He was a US Army Veteran, a member of the Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and a retired factory worker.
Mr. Skelton is survived by his wife, Flossie Lemons Skelton, a son, Barry Skelton (Heather) of Potts Camp, a brother, Glen Skelton of Holly Springs, and three grandchildren, Rheagan Skelton, Sarah Jo Skelton, and Zac Skelton.
Services for Mr. Skelton will be held at Holly Springs Funeral Home on Friday, March 5, 2021, at 11:00 am, with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery following the funeral service. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 until 9:00 pm on Thursday, March 4, 2021. |
