Irene Strickland 95 years old, passed away on Friday, August 7 at Ashland Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Strickland spent her earlier years working at various manufacturing facilities in Holly Springs, MS. Upon her retirement she enjoyed being a homemaker, a gardener and talking on the phone.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Paul Strickland; her parents, Leona and Ralph Bowden; and one brother, James Bowden.
She leaves behind one son, Bobby Joe Mathis (Bobbie Lynn); one grand-daughter, Tammy Taylor (Jeremy); and two great grandchildren, Brody and Mabry Taylor.
