Ivy William Warren

Ivy Warren of Lamar, was born on October 25,1950, in Pontotoc, Mississippi. He went to be with our Lord and Savior on the evening of August 8, 2023, surrounded by loved ones .

Mr Warren was a long time resident of Collierville, Tennessee. He graduated from Collierville High School in 1968, and married his high school sweetheart, Judy, in 1969. He was a carpenter by trade, with Warren Brothers Construction. Mr Warren worked at Booth Hardware in Collierville for 17 years, Moss Lumber Company in the early nineties, and later on he was a supply manager for Zack Street Plumbing.

Mr Warren loved the Lord, and served as a deacon with East Shelby Church of Christ . He enjoyed many activities including fitness, quail and squirrel hunting, wood working, motorcycle riding, antique cars, cooking and spending time with family. He was known for making people laugh no matter what the situation was,and was loved by many and never met a stranger. Up until recently, against our advice, he would still stop and help anyone stranded on the side of the road .

He was preceded in death by his parents, I.W. and Mattie Warren, and his sister,  Patricia Warren Hall . He is survived by his beautiful wife Judy of 54 years, his daughter Tina Warren , two grandsons , Kyle and Michael Fioranelli , two brothers, Alton Warren ( Annie deceased), Billy Ray Warren ( Brenda), one sister, Shelia Warren Kill ( Kerry) , two Aunts, Sarah Warren Young ( William Freeman deceased) and Jean Galloway (John deceased ), along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services for Mr Warren will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral home on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 2:00 pm.  A visitation will begin at noon, and continue until service time.  He will be laid to rest at Baldwyn Memorial Cemetery in Pontotoc, Mississippi.  Pallbearers will be Kyle Fioranelli, Michael Fioranelli, Chris Rowell, Alton Warren Jr, Don Warren, and Corbin Kill.
