John Wayne Catron
John Wayne Catron, 71, of Olive Branch, passed away on April 21, 2022, in Byhalia. He was born on December 19, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, to Danny and Linda Catron. Mr Catron was a retired groundskeeper with Northcentral Electric Power Association. Mr Catron is survived by a son, Joshua Catron of Horn Lake, and two daughters, Krystle Gonzales of Pulaski, Tennessee, and Ashley Looney (Devin) of Horn Lake. He also leaves two brothers, Doyle Catron and Donald Catron; two sisters, Golda Catron and Donyale Ellis; and eleven grandchildren, Johnathon Catron, Jeremy Catron, Austin Gonzales, Joseph Catron, Isabelle Gonzales, Bradley Looney, Blake Looney,Lucas Caudill, Annabella Catron, Piper Gonzales and Clyde Catron. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Catron and Danny Catron Jr. Arrangements for Mr Catron are incomplete at this time. The Holly Springs Funeral Home has charge.

First time we saw him he said I'm John Wayne, he never came in without waving or coming over to tell us what he had been doing. He will be missed by many, their was someeone just today saying how much they would miss him. He has a special place in heaven.
