Leon Ford, 72, passed away at his home in Holly Springs on August 15, 2022. He was born on June 5, 1950, in Potts Camp, to Robbie Lee Ford and Lilla Mae Johnson. Mr Ford was in the logging and construction business.
Mr Ford is survived by wife, Joann, and a daughter, Tonya Thomas. He also leaves six brothers, Claudell Ford (Rosie), Jessie Ford (Evelyn), Joe Ford (Evelyn), Lawrence Ford, Walter Ford (Shirley), and Ernest Ford; three sisters, Mary Jumper (Charlie), Willie Mae Gadd, and Dorothy West (Ben); six grandchildren, Nae Nae (Chilo), Ashely, Jason, Noah, Seida, and Jose, and sixteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jarrett Gray, three brothers, KD, Tommy, and Robert, and three sisters, Charlene, Betty, and Mattie.
Services for Mr Ford will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 3:00 pm, in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 17, from 5:00 until 9:00 pm. Burial, following the service will be at Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery.
