Leona Evie Dodd Greer, 82, of Southaven, passed away at the hospital in Senatobia, on July 19, 2023. She was born in Lamar, Mississippi, on June 28, 1941, to Theodore Dodd and Bessie Lee Janes Dodd. Mrs Greer was in retail sales.
Mrs Greer is survived by a brother, Thomas Dodd (Delane) of Lamar, and a sister, Dora Dodd Berryman (Horace) of Byhalia. She also leaves a stepson, David Greer of Lavernia, Texas,
and several much-loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Ruby King.
Services for Mrs Greer will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Tuesday July 25, 2023, at 11:00 am. Prior to the service, a visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, and will last until service time. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. |
