Louva Jean Champness 86, passed away August 18, 2020 at Baptist East Hospital, Memphis, TN. Louava was born Januay 8, 1934 to Russell Varton and Louva Stephens Varton in Minneapolis, MN. Louva was a Presbyterian and worked as a Nurse. Services will be held August 22, 2020 at 4:00 pm at the New Life Church of God, Collierville, TN. There will be a visitation beginning at 2:30 pm until service. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery, Collierville, TN. Mrs. Champness is survived by her husband, Thomas Champness of Collierville, TN. One son and two daughters. Masks and social distancing is required.
