Martha Carolyn Hale, 70, of Potts Camp, passed away at her home on January 23, 2023.
She was born in Holly Springs on April 15, 1952, to Samuel Edward Skelton and Annie Estelle Skelton Skelton. Mrs Hale was a factory worker.
Mrs Hale is survived by her husband, Ronnie Hale; two daughters, Jennifer Johnson (Steve) and Ronda Mesner (Rick); five grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Dustin Johnson, Ray "Rudy" Maxey, Connor Blevins, and Ronnie Blevins, and two great grandchildren, Faithlynn Johnson and Olivia Lackey. She also leaves a brother, Samuel "Spanky" Skelton (Patsy), three sisters, Wanda Carpenter, Dorothy Skelton, and Lucy Hunsucker (Rod), and a great granddog, Zeus Maxey. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Rosie Michelle Novarese, a brother, Randall Edward Skelton, two sisters, Janet Duke and Connie Taylor, and a grandchild, Gavin Blevins.
Services for Mrs Hale will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 1:00 pm, in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening, January 26, from 4:00 until 8:00 pm. Burial, following the service, will be at Skelton Cemetery.
