Mary Cooper 82, passed away August 21, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital, Jonesboro, AR. Mary was born June 21, 1938 to William Swords and Flora Pauline Smith Swords in Union County, MS. Mary was a homemaker and a member of The First Pentacostal Church, New Albany.
Services will be held August 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm at The First Pentacostal Church, New Albany, MS. There will be a visitation at the church Monday evennig, August 25, 2020 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Gerizim Cemetery, New Albany, MS.
Mary is survived by two sons, Charles Cooper (Tina) of New Albany, MS and James Cooper (Charlene) of Florence, AL. A daughter, Kathy Marcum (Walter) of Myrtle, MS. Three brothers, Jessie Jr. Smith, James Thomas Smith and John David Smith. Her sister, Geneva Price. Twelve grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
