Mattie Lou Anderson, 87, of Holly Springs, passed away at her home on November 15, 2023. She was born in Mt Pleasant on November 21, 1935, to Willie Bascum Langston and David Etoille Teel. Mrs Anderson was employed by Carrier Corporation, and was a member of Carey Chapel Baptist Church.
Mrs Anderson is survived by two sons, David Lynn Anderson (Linda) of Mt Pleasant, and James Darren Anderson (Lisa) of Clarksville, Tennessee, and two daughters, Meredith Dennis (Roger) of Oxford, and Susan Anderson Mauney (Ken) of Mt Pleasant. She also leaves a sister, Delia Hurdle of Slayden, eleven grandchildren, and was blessed with several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Olynn Anderson.
Services for Mrs Anderson will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 12:00 pm. A visitation will begin at 10:00 am, and continue until service time. Burial will be at Carey Chapel Cemetery. |
