Richard Larry Carpenter 81, passed away December 16, 2019 at his home in Mt. Pleasent, MS. Larry was born August 22, 1938 to Lud Carpenter and Nadine Bogard Carpenter in Mt. Pleasent, MS. Larry was a member of Carey Chapel Baptist Church and owner and operator of Carpenter Well Co. Services will be held December 19, 2019 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. There will be a visitation Wednesday evening, December 18, 2019 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasent Cemetery. Larry is survived by two sons, Larry Carpenter Jr. (Phyllis) and Brent Carpenter, daughter, Brenda Hurdle all of Mt. Pleasent, MS. His sister, Jo Anne Lewis of Hornlake MS Seven grandchildren and eleven grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marie Carpenter.
