Sammie Tipler 72, passed away June 17, 2020 at Baptist East Hospital, Memphis, TN. Sammie was born August 15, 1947 to George Franklin Tipler and Maxine Jewel Hodge Tipler in Brownfield, MS. Sammie worked in constuction and was member of Hwy 45 Baptist Church.
Services will be held June 20, 2020 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. There will be a visitation Friday evening June 19, 2020 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Ashland Cemetery.
Sammie is survived by his wife, Kathy Tipler of Moscow, TN. Two sons, Bryan Wells of Moscow, TN and Bradley Tipler of Oxford, MS. Two daughters, Heather Tipler (James) of Ashland, MS and Samantha Alberson of Columbia, MS. His sister, Twila Wilson of Greenville, TN. Three grandchildren, Savannah Tipler, Hunter Alberson, Chase Wells and one great grandson, Brennen Bracero.
Sammie was preceded in death by his brother, Freddie Tipler, sister Pamela Tipler, daughter Sonya Tipler and son Bradley Wells.
