Sampson Allen Nutt, 85, of Hickory Flat, Mississippi, passed away on March 5, 2021, at Baptist Hospital in New Albany. He was born on July 21, 1935, in Union county, Mississippi, to Brooks McNutt and Lorene Edwards McNutt. Mr Nutt was a truck driver and a lifelong Baptist.
Mr. Nutt is predeceased by his wife, Mary Wallace Nutt and a son, Steve Nutt. He is survived by a daughter, Lawanda Treadway (Wayne) of Blue Springs; a daughter in law, Connie Nutt; two brothers, Adron McNutt of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Leland Stanton of Hickory Flat; a sister, Janis Alderson of Waterford; two grandchildren, Sam Nutt and Seth Nutt (Alex) of Hickory Flat and a great grandchild, Steven Abel.
Graveside services will be held on March 7, 2021, at 2:00 pm, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Hickory Flat. |
