Helen Catherine Reece, 79, of Holly Springs, passed away at Christopher's Manor Assisted Living on December 5, 2023. She was born in the Laws Hill Community on July 29, 1944, to Prentiss Shaw and Annie Lou Owens Shaw. Mrs Reece was a homemaker.
Mrs Reece is survived by her husband, Gene R Reece of Holly Springs, a son, Keith Reece (Michelle) of Waterford, and two daughters, Sandra Vokes of Potts Camp, and Patty Williams (Kerry) of Potts Camp. She also leaves a grandchild, Stephanie Wells and a great grandchild, Brayden Wells, a brother, Kenneth Shaw of Waterford, and three sisters, Evelyn Burton of Bartlett, Tennessee, Linda Lovelace of Potts Camp, and Ann Stephens of Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Reece.
Services for Mrs Reece will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Saturday morning, December 9, 2023, at 11:00 am. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:00 am, and continue until service time. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery. |
