James Curtis Skelton 76, passed away November 26, 2019 at Ashland Health and Rehab. James was born Mrch 19, 1943 to John Calvin Skelton and Martha Byrd Skelton in Marshall County. James was a Morman and worked for the Marshall County Road Department. James enjoyed rabbit hunting, car sales and cows.

Services will be held November 29, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bicycle Road, Holly Springs, MS. There will be a visitation at the church beginning at 10:00 am unti service. Burial will be at John C. Skelton Cemetery.

James is survived by two sons, James Skelton (Lisa) of Lamar, MS and John Jason Skelton of Potts Camp, MS. Two sisters Martha Allen of Lamar, MS and Addie Watkins of Barton, MS. Five grandchildren, Dyan Link, Allison Skelton, Hailey Skelton, Haven Skelton and Karlie Link.Three great grandchildren, Skylar Frazier, Jeffery Link and Waylon Link.

James was preceded in death by his siblings, Samuel Edward Skelton "Sweetie Man", James "Shorty" Walker Skelton, John Kritrell Skelton, Howard Julian Skelton, Amamae Conrad, Dale Viola Kahler, Annie Florine Creasie and one great grandchild Brantley Kole Link.
