Jerry Bolden

Jerry Cooper Bolden, 77, of Holly Springs, passed away on July 30, 2021, in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was born in Slayden on December 8, 1943, to Edgar Lee Bolden and Addie Mae Byrd Bolden.  He was a rodeo producer.  

Jerry is survived by his son, Jerry Rookie Bolden of Hudsonville, Mississippi; his companion, Sue Bolden, and three sisters, Lucy Carpenter Howell and Faye Cook, both of Hudsonville, and Nellie Hurdle of Slayden.  He also leaves three grandchildren, Keifer Bolden, Presley Bolden, and Parker Griffin, and three great grandchildren, Tripp Bolden, Chase Bolden, and Addyson Keeling.


Services will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the chapel at the Holly Springs Funeral Home, with burial at Old Hudsonville Presbyterian Cemetery, following the service. There will be a visitation, Monday evening, August 2, 2021, from 5:00 - 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
