Loretta Jean Meadows, 70, of Byhalia, Mississippi passed away on December 23, 2025 at the Olive Branch Methodist Hospital. Loretta was born on August 22, 1955 in Sledge, Mississippi to the late Mr. James R. Sanders and Mrs. Ruby Jean Irving Sanders. Her Baptist faith was an important part of her life, and she took great pride in being a homemaker. She enjoyed eating out, watching murder mysteries, and most of all, spending time with her family.

 

Ms. Meadows is survived by a son, Mark Meadows (Mandy) of Nesbit, MS, a Daughter-In-Law, Donna Meadows of Piperton, TN, and 2 brothers, Duane Sanders of Southaven, MS and Jimmy Sanders of Horn Lake, MS. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Johnathan Meadows, Alex Meadows (Trinity), Mia Meadows, Oakleigh Meadows and a step-grandchild Gabriel Looney. She is preceded in death by both her parents and a loving son, Mike Meadows.

 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM and last until service time. The funeral service will begin at 12 PM. All services will be held at the Holly Springs Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville. No graveside services will be held.
