Mona Jo Mitchell, 93, passed away on April 4, 2022, in Red Banks, Mississippi. She was born in Holly Springs on February 9, 1929, to Agnes Wilkins Jones. Mrs Mitchell was a credit clerk with the trucking industry.
Mrs Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, James Aubrey Mitchell. She is survived by two sons, James Mitchell (Cheryl) of Red Banks, and Artie Mitchell of Memphis, and a daughter, Jackie James (Steve) of Van Buren, Arkansas. She leaves a brother, Larry Jones and a sister, Mary Daniels, and five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Jones, and two sisters, Wanda Jones and Jackie Jones.
