Rose Mary Humphries 96, passed away June 17, 2020 at Methodist Alliance Hospice , Memhis, TN. Rose was born December 15, 1923 to Thomas Papas and Oakie Mary Suggs Pappas in Memphis, TN. Rose was a member of Collierville United Methodist Church and a restaurant owner. Rose and her husband Jimmy lived at Daffodil Hill at Poplar and Shea Rd. Many happy years were spent there.
Services will be held graveside, June 19, 2020 at 4:00 pm at Magnolia Cemetery, Collierville, TN. There will be a visitation beginning at 3:00 pm until service.
Rose is survived by four daughters, Patricia Hicks (George) of Pickwick, MS, Donna Pittman (David) of Germantown, TN, Vikki Whitten of Oxford, MS and Barbara Smith of Germantown, TN. Eight grandchildren, Stacey Reinke, Mark Hicks, Courtney Bishop, Christopher Hicks, Brad Smith, Brittany Smith, Ashley Whitten, Brandon Whitten and thirteen great grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Willie James Humphries.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Methodist Alliance Hospice for their wonderful care. They became our family.
