Brenda Marie Dennis Lewis, 75, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away at Majestic Garden Longterm Care Facility on September 24, 2025. She was born in Holly Springs on December 9, 1949, to Charles Dennis and Agnes Kersh Dennis. Mrs Lewis was a Baptist and was employed with the Shelby County Office of Archives.
Mrs Lewis leaves her husband, William Lewis of Memphis, and a son, William Charles Lewis (Kathleen). She is also survived by two sisters, Sharon Schoggen and Betty Sue Varnado, and four grandchildren, Andrew Lewis, Elliott Lewis, Logan Lewis and Connor Lewis (Audrey). She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles Dennis III and Jim Dennis.
Memorial services for Mrs Lewis will be held at the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 pm. A visitation will begin at noon, and continue until service time.
