Charles A. Polk, 88, of Byhalia, Mississippi passed away on May 2, 2026 at the Diversicare Health and Rehabilitation center in Southaven. Charles was born to the late Mr. Ernest Polk and Mrs. Pauline Kee Polk on October 19, 1937 in Williston, Tennessee. He was Baptist in faith and worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. He was also a veteran of the United States Army National Guard.

 

Mr. Polk is survived by a son, James A Polk (Rachel) of Newark, Arkansas, 2 daugters, Melina Forbes of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Lisa Sorrell of Byhalia, Mississippi, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. He is also survived by a brother, Edward Polk of Rossville, Tennessee. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
