Emily Gail Bledsoe 66, passed away on December 21, 2017 at her home in Hickory Flat, MS. Emily was born September 19, 1951 to Wilbur Byrd and Margaret Strickland Byrd in Holly Springs, MS. Emily was a Baptist and worked as a clerk.

Services will be held December 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. There will be a visitation from 12:00 noon until service. Burial will be at McKay Cemetery in Hickory Flat, MS.

Emily is survived by her husband Leroy Bledsoe Hickory Flat, MS. Mother, Margaret Byrd Southaven, MS. Two sons, Carlton Rowland (Ruth Ann) Hickory Flat, Ms, and Leroy Bledsoe III (Valerie) Southaven, MS. Daughter, Wendy Lester (Jeff) Thyatira, MS. Brother, Randy Byrd Brooksville, FL. Seven grandchildren.
