Johnny Fitch

John Gray Fitch Sr, 56, of Holly Springs, Mississippi, passed away on June 5, 2021, at Baptist Hospital East, in Memphis, Tennessee.  Johnny was born in Memphis on June 29, 1964, to Jerry Steven Fitch Sr and Martha Lavelle Gray Fitch.  He was a retired truck driver for Fitch Oil Company, working with his father for many years, and a member of the Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Johnny served as Constable for the North District of Marshall County Mississippi for 16 years, and also worked for J&J Trucking.

Johnny loved being an auxilliary policeman, and collected guns and watches.  He was an avid John Wayne fan.  He was also a Christian, and served as a Christian example to his children, and to his grandaughter, Livi, whom he adored.

Johnny leaves his mother, Martha Gray Fitch, a son, John Gray Fitch Jr, a daughter Savannah Jade Fitch, and a granddaughter, Olivia Paige Fitch.  He also leaves a brother, Jerry Fitch Jr, a sister, Kaylea Day FItch, and Samantha Fitch, as well as a host of nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by his father, Jerry Fitch.

Services for Johnny will be held at the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 2:00 pm, with burial in Hill Crest Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.

I send the entire family my deepest sympathies from the bottom of my heart. Martha, Savannah, John Gray, Livy, and Samantha, you are in my prayers and forever in my heart. Johnny changed my life forever and I will miss him for the rest of my life. May his memory be a blessing to you always,
