Robert Henry "Bobby" Hudspeth, 84, of Ashland, passed away at his home on January 20, 2022. He was born on August 30, 1937, in Tippah County to Henry Clyde Hudspeth and Gelola Miller Hudspeth. Mr Hudspeth was a United States Army Veteran and a logger.
Mr Hudspeth is survived by his wife, Sadie Mae Bennett Hudspeth, two sons, Brian Hudspeth of Strayhorn, and Kelly Hudspeth of Ashland, and two daughters, Lisa Madru (Thomas) of Ashland, and Robin Lipsey of New Albany, eleven grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He also leaves a brother, Billy Hudspeth, and two sisters, Betty Call and Judy Bolden, all of Ashland. Mr Hudspeth was preceded in death by a son, Robert Henry Hudspeth II, a daughter, Joann James, and a brother, Joe Gene Hudspeth.
Services for Mr Hudspeth will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Ashland. A visitation will be held at the church, beginning at noon. Burial will be in Bluff Springs Cemetery. The Holly Springs Funeral Home has charge. |
