Steven Wayne Riles 56, passed away Wednesday January 25, 2017 at Baptist Hospital Oxford, MS. He was born June 21, 1960 in Holly Springs MS. to John Prentis Riles and Billie Dickerson Barkley. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked as a mechanic. Services will be Friday, January 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Holly Springs Funeral Home, with a visitation at the funeral home Thursday, January 26, 2017 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Burial will be at Hill Crest Cemetary Holly Springs MS . He is survived by his mother Billie Barkley, a son Steven Riles Jr. (Amy) Hickory Flat, MS. a daughter Kimberly Lane Hall (Lacy) New Albany MS. 2 brothers Mike Lemons and Gary Riles. 4 sister Margaret Shoffner, Lesia Jones, Angie Sorrell and Theresa Shoffner. 6 grandchildren Nathan Wilson. Jacob Wilson, McKenzie Riles, Lilly Riles, Aubrey Hall and Charlie Riles. He was was preceded in death by his father John Riles , a brother John Robert Riles and his grandmother Lillian Stewart (Big Mama)

I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.
