Holly Springs Funeral Home

Virginia Turner Lesley

Virginia Turner Lesley, 90, of Holly Springs, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on June 7, 2022.  She was born in Selma, Alabama on July 8, 1931, to Edward Turner and Mamie Horne Turner.  Mrs Lesley was a former legal secretary for Judge Glenn Fant, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs Lesley is survived by her children, Melanie and William, both of Holly Springs.  She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and their families.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde William Lesley, and three sisters, her twin, Anne Lesley, Lucille Thompson, and Betty Jo Watson.

Services for Mrs Lesley will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 3:00 pm.  A visitation will be held for friends and family beginning at 1:00 pm, and lasting until service time.  Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery.  As Virginia was a life-long animal lover, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial  donations be made to Abandoned to Adored an animal rescue in Holly Springs (1995 Hwy 4 East, Holly Springs, MS  38635).
