Billy Cupp Jr

Billy Kenneth Cupp Jr, 59, passed quietly away at his home on July 28,2022, following a brief illness.  He was born on January 25, 1963, in Oxford, to Billy Cupp Sr and Becky Lou Humphreys Cupp.  Billy was a devoted member of Christ Episcopal Church, where he served faithfully as both Junior and Senior Warden, an Episcopal Church Councilman, and President of the Mens' Club for over twenty five years.  Billy's family was originally from the Red Banks community, and he served as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in that area for 33 years.  He was also a former real estate broker with Crye-Leike Realty.  Billy enjoyed many varied pleasures in life.  He was an avid reader and an excellent cook, and he loved fishing and sports.  He was a long time, dedicated volunteer  for the Marshall County Food Bank

Billy is survived by his loving wife of  28 years, Tammy Fuller Cupp, and his mother Becky Lou Cupp, both of Holly Springs.  He also leaves a sister, Beverly Cupp Varadi (Sandor) of Olive Branch, and two brothers, Walker Cupp (Heather) of Collierville, and Christopher Cupp (Jenny) of Germantown. In addition, he leaves several much loved nieces, nephews and cousins. Billy was preceded in death by his father, Billy Cupp Sr and his dear pet, Mr Peabody.

Memorial services for Billy will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 11:00 am, at Christ Episcopal Church.  A visitation for family and friends will be held in the Parrish House, beginning at 10:00, and will last until service time.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Christ Episcopal Church of Holly Springs.  The Holly Springs Funeral Home has charge.
