Elva Verniece Baughman Lykens, 78, of Byhalia, passed away on June 21, 2023. She was born on January 4, 1945, in Sullivan, Indiana, to William Baughman and Elizabeth Jane Sluder. Mrs Lykens was an accountant.
Mrs Lykens is survived by two sons, Bryan Keith Lykens (Michelle) and Dwight Andrew Lykens (Christina),and four daughters, Cynthia Diane Brummitt (Dwight), Susan Jane Voss (Jim), Samantha Guichard, and Candace Jolene Wooldridge (James). She also leaves nineteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren (with another great on the way). She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Rocky Lykens, a son, Christopher Don Lykens, a great grandchild and a sister, Katherine Gayle Daigre.
Services for Mrs Lykens will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11:00 am. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening, June 23 frrom 5:00 until 8:00 pm. Burial, following the funeral service, will be at Mt Pleasant Cemetery. |
